Group5 has been enlisted to do an entire build-up of a brand spankin' new 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL550. The car was bought at Fletcher Jones and driven straight to the shop for the modifications listed below. The car is now complete and Ling will post up the 'after' snapshots tomorrow evening. In the meantime, included in this post are 'before' pictures of the stock car with only 94 miles on the clock.

  • HRE 944R Wheels [Brushed Centers with Chrome Lip] 21x9" (F) / 21x10.5" (R)

Wow...I never noticed how much that car looked like ASS!!! stock. After the pics I gave it to the body shop right away so I really did not look at it for long but those pics just made me hurl...
However it does not look like that any longer..Everything except the exhaust tips and wheels are done. So tommorrow Ling can take some after pics.
Oh yeah..we tinted the windows with 50% film all the way around and then tinted the windsheild with the lightest film available.

Not really feeling it stock either. The side profile doesnt even look like its a benz. The drop, HREs and the Lorinser goodies will do wonders.

That is my Wholesale manager's AE86...I will have him shoot some pics to post. His car is coming along pretty nice. Coilovers with pillow ball upper mounts and camber plates,,sway bars,front BBK,lots of upper and lower chassis braces,carbon hood and trunk,and a bunch of cool little JDM things.

Ling shot the pics this evening at the shop...I only saw a few of em on the cameras display screen bu they looked sick! You would not even recognize the car....total transformation. I am sure Ling has to a little of his photoshop magic when he gets a chance and poste em.

Thank you very much Ling for taking the time to shoot the pics for me ....I really appreciate it.

So everything went smooth on the car build up but the Lorinser fog light kit has very dull yellow bulbs and it looks really off so time to install a slim ballast HID kit in those suckers to clean up the look at night.
